《假日英雄》「食物募捐活動」

又到年末了, 在大家忙於為黑五、聖誕節、除夕夜及新年安排節目及購物的同時, 亦是一個實踐助人為快樂之本的好時機。讓我們一起幫助那些生活在困難之中, 連最基本的食物也負擔不起的人吧。

約克區警隊《假日英雄》(Holiday Heroes) 活動已經踏入第 27 年, 今年再次與加拿大中文電台聯手舉辦「食物募捐活動」！

收集日期: 由現在起至 11 月 24 日 (星期五)

收集時間: 上午 10 時至下午 5 時

收集地點: 加拿大中文電台 151 Esna Park Drive, Unit 26-29, Markham

• 請各位聽眾踴躍捐贈各類全新、未開封、未過期的「不易腐爛食物」, 例如：罐頭食品、嬰兒食品、餅乾、粟米片、花生醬、米、乾粉麵、茶包、咖啡粉，等等。
• 請千萬不要捐贈以玻璃瓶包裝的食品、自家製、雪藏、散裝、新鮮會腐爛的食物。
• 除了食品外，主辦單位亦呼籲善長們捐贈*六號嬰兒尿片*，以供有需要的家庭使用。

今年約克區警隊更特別準備了紀念品：紙警車、鉛筆、警章水印紋身貼，送給到場的食物捐贈者。每人限取一份，送完即止。

The York Regional Police "Holiday Heroes" campaign is back! Every year, this program supports thousands of individuals and families in need right here in York Region.

The 2023 Food Drive campaign will run from now until November 24, 2023.

• Please drop off unopened, unexpired non-perishable food items at Fairchild Radio Toronto (151 Esna Park Drive, Unit 26-28, Markham) during Office hours. Mondy-Friday, 10am – 5pm. 
• Please avoid donating glass containers, homemade food, refrigerated items, bulk items, and fresh produce.

Through the generosity of our community, including businesses, schools, organizations and community groups, "Holiday Heroes" has been able to help approximately 100,000 individuals and families in need since the program launched 27 years ago.
