《Paradise Lost》以 AI 科技為切入點，探討失去、記憶、親情，以及我們究竟愛的是眼前真實的人，還是記憶中那個從未改變的他。當一位母親多年來依靠 AI 保存失蹤兒子的模樣，而真正的兒子突然歸來，她也必須重新面對記憶與現實之間的距離。

At TIFF 2026, Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho joins stars Kim Hyun-joo and Bae Hyeon-seong for a special interview with Fairchild Radio’s Young Life host Eva Chen about their new film, Paradise Lost.

Using AI as its starting point, Paradise Lost explores grief, memory, family, and the difficult question of whether we love someone for who they are today — or for the version of them we continue to hold onto in our memories.

In the interview, Yeon Sang-ho discusses why he chose AI as a way to explore human emotions and family relationships, while Kim Hyun-joo and Bae Hyeon-seong share their perspectives on portraying the complicated mother-son relationship at the heart of the film.

And if Transhuman really existed, would they choose to use it themselves?
