Taiwanfest 台灣文化節帶來最有代表性的寶島音樂

每年到了夏天的尾聲，令人引頸期盼的台灣文化節「TAIWAN fest」肯定是華人社區最重要的活動之一。今年的本活動將於今天8月22日起連續三天在多倫多湖濱舉辦，今年也是本活動的25周年慶，主辦單位將以和福爾摩沙島戀愛25年的心情歡度。

Every year at the end of the summer, TAIWANfest is alway the event that all the Asian community is looking forward to. This year's event will be starting on 8/22 for 3 days, and will be taking place at Toronto Harbour Front area. This year will be the 25th year of this fantastic event, and for sure there will be something special for everyone!

今年的活動看點之一將為偶動乾坤 – 霹靂布袋戲特展 One of the highlight this year will be The Exhibit of Pili Puppetry.

連續三天的活動將有幾個亮點：電影台灣交響盛宴、霹靂偶戲奇幻世界、用音樂改變台灣、台灣新藝向及米與麵之爭。

「電影台灣」交響盛宴將以不同的方式來呈現大家熟悉的電影音樂。Symphony of Movies will take us through a musical journey in Taiwanese films.

每年台灣文化節的重頭戲是搖滾音樂會，今年的「電影台灣交響盛宴」和「用音樂改變台灣音樂會」都改在室內舉行。為了向台灣電影致敬，「電影台灣」交響盛宴邀請台裔加拿大音樂家謝建得先生，以交響樂的形式，搭配電影經典片段於市中心演奏李安、史擷詠以及近代電影之電影配樂，用古典交響推廣台灣電影，呈現跨國際、跨平台、跨世代的音樂饗宴。

年輕世代的音樂當然也是每年台灣文化節的重頭戲之一！Music from Taiwan of course is one of the main event every year. This year there will be some folk rock and indie rock artists from Taiwan at the event!

音樂一直是台灣社會運動的重要推手，今年台灣文化節我們將光榮的介紹音樂在台灣社會變遷上佔據的重要地位，「用音樂改變台灣」請到張懸、滅火器和農村武裝青年，堅強又另類的陣容標舉著台灣「捍衛夢想、打造新台灣」的新世代搖滾大旗，不只為台灣注入新能量，也讓世界看到台灣正從地平線緩緩升起的島嶼天光。
