還在用 Windows 7? 微軟明年 1 月終止免費支援大限進入倒數!

很多朋友家中或者公司的電腦是使用 Windows（視窗系統），如果你也是其中的一份子，就要快點查看一下電腦是否仍然使用 Windows 7。微軟宣布在 2020 年後將不會繼續為 Windows 7 提供免費支援及安全更新，正式為 Windows 7 的時代劃上句號。

單看電腦的桌面，很容易分辨自己的電腦是否仍然使用 Windows 7 或更舊的作業系統。在螢幕的左下方，Windows 7、Vista 和 XP 仍然有傳統「開始按鈕 Start Icon」。

使用 Windows 8 或以上作業系統以「Modern 瓷磚」的畫面來取代。Windows 10 恢復類似 Windows Vista 和 Windows 7 的傳統「開始按鈕」，在細節上揉合了 Windows 8 和 Windows 8.1 的微軟「Modern 瓷磚」設計。

微軟於 2009 年推出 Windows 7，一直深受用家喜愛。之後微軟改良和優質化視窗系統，分別於 2012 年和 2015 年推出 Windows 8 和 Windows 10，但現時仍有不少電腦仍然使用舊的 Windows 7 作業系統。

事實上，早於 2015 年 1 月，微軟已宣布終止 Windows 7 的主流支援服務，以及停止為系統加入新功能。從那時起，微軟只為 Windows 7 提供安全升級及每月安全修正檔。如今，微軟宣布將於 2020 年 1 月 14 日停止免費支援 Windows 7 及提供安全修正檔與系統更新，並呼籲用戶盡快升級系統軟件， Windows 7 正式走入歷史。

現在可在市場上購買的微軟產品，全部都是使用 Windows 10 作業系統。微軟將 Windows 10 變成一項服務，它將持續接收更新。最新版本是 1809，於 2019 年 1 月 9 日推出。

根據市場調研機構 Netmarketshare 的數據，雖然 Windows 10 幾次更新都出現問題，令微軟在桌面系統的市場份額略有下降，但依舊以超過 86% 的市場份額穩居第一，蘋果 macOS 的市場份額則只有 10.65%。

根據 2018 年 2 月微軟官方調查，現時仍有 42% 的 Windows 電腦仍然使用 Windows 7 系統，僅次於 Windows 10 的 43%。換句話說，一年後將有大量電腦不再收到安全更新，造成極大保安漏洞。在微軟對 Windows 7 的免費支援停止後，用戶仍然可繼續使用，但微軟會以付費方式支援 Windows 7 系統，而且收費更會按年上升。
